Our founder, Eva Vazquez, is a trailblazing force, a brown Latina queer woman whose vision embodies the principles of social justice, equality, and love. With a deep passion for both music and skateboarding, she recognized the transformative power of these art forms in fostering community and self-expression.
Driven by her commitment to creating positive change, Eva embarked on a journey to establish a platform that not only celebrates diversity but actively promotes it. Her experiences as a marginalized individual within both the skateboarding and music communities fueled her determination to carve out spaces where everyone feels welcomed and empowered.
Drawing from her personal journey, she envisioned an organization that goes beyond just providing access to skateboarding; it’s a movement that champions inclusivity, amplifies underrepresented voices, and advocates for social justice. Her leadership is characterized by empathy, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to uplifting marginalized youth.
Eva believes in the transformative potential of creative expression as a tool for healing and empowerment. Through her tireless efforts, she has built bridges between communities, fostering connections that transcend differences and nurture understanding. With her unique perspective and unwavering commitment to her values, she continues to inspire others to join her in building a more equitable, inclusive, and loving world, one skateboard at a time.
